  "I don't care about the industry and thyey don't care about me," she says. "I'm glad they're there adn that's nice but their interest is in making money and mine is in creating the best product.
“Their end product is money, my end product is music. They've been that way for the 42 years I've been in the business and if it hasnt' changed yet it's not going to.
  "But now the internet has changed everything, because it's given more control to musicians and ownability of all their own albums. People tell me in 10 years there won't even be major labels anymore."
 She doesn't fret it. "They never paid me anyway," she says. "The only people I don't say that about is Stony Plain, who have been fair, up and up, right there for me and I appreciate the hell out of them for it."
